Embarking on couples therapy is a journey, and at Reunite, we provide a variety of specialized approaches to meet your unique needs. Whether you're navigating challenges related to emotional and relationship issues stemming from sexual difficulties, mismatched sexual desire, challenges with arousal, healing from infidelity, communication issues, seeking support for a non-traditional relationship, or considering premarital counseling, your therapy sessions are crafted just for you.

FAQs for Couples Therapy

  • 1) Contact Reunite to schedule a free 10-15 minute phone consultation.

    2) If we are a good fit, we will schedule the first session.

    3) After the first session is scheduled, an email will be sent to you and your partner to complete the initial paperwork on your client portal. *Both partners must complete the initial paperwork 24 hours before the first session.

    4) We will meet at the scheduled appointment time via video for the first session.

  • In your first session, your therapist will ask questions to better understand the both you and your partner and your relationship. The therapist will ask questions related to what brings you both into therapy, what has been working well, what has been not working as well, and the couple’s goals for therapy. The therapist will also discuss plans for future sessions and answer any questions the two of you may have.

  • Typically, sessions are weekly or if preferred bi-weekly. The therapist will often encourage couples to meet weekly in the beginning then taper down to biweekly. Sessions typically range from 6 months to 2+ years, but ultimately it is up to the couple. Some couples will often start or continue to designate a time to brush up on skills to enhance their relationship. At Reunite, we call this Date Night or maintenance therapy.

    Reunite offers 50-minute sessions and 90-minute sessions.

  • Couples sessions can be either 50 minutes or 90 minutes. If meeting biweekly, 90 minutes sessions are often encouraged.

    50-minute sessions- $150

    90-minute session- $225
